Laser Welding, Cutting, Drilling & Engraving
Acceleron's
laser services are supported by state-of-the-art machines
and controls utilizing both YAG and CO2.
Our machines are integrated with multi-axis work stations,
up to five axes, for laser welding, laser cutting and laser
drilling.
Through
efforts to upgrade tooling, shorten set-up times and utilize
larger, more precise customized machining centers, Acceleron
is constantly working to exceed industry demands for competitive
pricing and the highest quality. For customers, that translates
to decreased costs for complex production set-ups and the
ability to handle a greater array of parts on a continuous
production schedule.
Our
laser department works accurately and reliably with an assortment
of materials, including metals, glass, ceramics, woods, fabrics,
Teflon®, Kevlar®, some plastics and more.

SERVICES: Acceleron offers a full spectrum of laser
services, including (from top down): Sequential laser
marking on a surgical cutting tool; Laser welded
tube to half tube for hermetic seal; and Laser drilling
on an automated, continuous strip (each needle has
been drilled with a .011" hole ± .0005"). |
